Chocolate fondant

  • 112g (4 oz) semi-sweet chocolate squares
  • 125ml (½ cup) butter
  • 250ml (1 cup) icing sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 90ml (6 tbsp) flour


  1. Preheat the oven to 425F.
  2. Butter 4 ramekins.
  3. Melt the chocolate and butter in microwave for about 1 minute or until mixture is completely melted and whisk to mix.
  4. Add icing sugar and mix well.
  5. Stir in the eggs and egg yolks, mixing with the whisk.
  6. Add the flour and mix until the texture is smooth and smooth.
  7. Divide the dough among the ramekins.
  8. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 13-14 minutes until sides are firm and centers still soft.
  9. Run a knife around the cakes to dislodge them and invert them onto a dessert plate. Serve with fruits of your choice!
