Apple crumble

Another fall classic that we love!

  • Servings : 8 to 10
  • Preparation : 20 minutes
  • Cooking : 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1L (4 cups) sliced ​​apples (Spartan, Empire, Cortland, Lobo)
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) margarine or butter
  • 175ml (3/4 cup) brown sugar
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) white flour
  • 250-375ml (1 to 1 1/2 cups) rolled oats
  • 1 pinch of salt

Methods

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Place the apples in a baking dish of at least (3-inch) deep.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Cream the margarine (or butter) and add the brown sugar, mix well.
  5. Add the flour, salt and oats.
  6. Spread over the fruit and cook for about 40 minutes.
